Who’s Next?

Ocap, Dimerlyn B.

I chose to focus on the early hominin origins, early homo up to us modern humans. I have always been interested and amazed in learning about the hominin and homo before us. Focusing on the sequence of who emerges first, discussing it will be a crash course on who was here before you, the way they lived, and how we ended up to whoever we are now.

Before Homo Sapiens, there were numerous groups before us.  In Welker’s book, he discussed 31 hominins and hominids. From the Miocene Epoch, Pliocene Epoch, Pleistocene Epoch. The Seven Million Years of evolution explains the gradual change of our physical features and the progress of our society.

An Interactive Video is a series of videos wherein the viewers are part of the flow of the presentation. Although hominin and homo do not emerge in a linear series, and some groups emerge at the same time, they still emerge at some point from different eras or epochs. I plan to end every video with a question, “Who’s next?” and two choices that will lead to the next videos. A video will only last for 30 seconds until 1 minute, discussing where they found it, their physical characteristics, and more information I can put on a 30-sec video.
