The purpose of this UnEssay is to deliver the basics about the history of human evolution in a lighthearted and engaging manner while still relaying the important information. The podcast started with a short introduction, stating the premise of the program before opening up with a casual conversation that will eventually build up to the relevant topic at hand. The podcast consists of five parts: (1) the introduction, (2) the origin of bipedalism and the early hominins, (2) Homo Erectus and the many variations of the hominin species, (3) the commercial break, (4) Homo Sapiens and the three theories of their origin, (5) the outro. The podcast was done via the Discord application and was recorded using OBS. Adobe Audition was used to edit and export the recorded audio file.
