Co-founded with Dr. Carla Hilario, Assistant Professor of Nursing, University of Alberta

This initiative aims to engage the Filipinx graduate community in a collective reflection on topics and issues concerning Filipinx in the motherland and beyond (and of course, graduate studies). Whether a Master's or a PhD student, this group is meant to be a safe and supportive space for our journey in higher education - during and after! Senior undergrads are also welcome.

It will consist of a monthly meeting to discuss Filipinx issues in the Philippines and in the diaspora and/or to offer support and space to fellow Filipinx grad students on campus. Additionally, this is also a place to connect with other Filipinx at the University of Alberta—across the disciplines—to share opportunities and resources.
